His Mission
Provide quality instruction in the life sciences in a clear, concise engaging format designed for everyone to understand.
Create an atmosphere of active engagement designed to develop curiosity and a genuine desire to learn in every student.
His Philosophy of Teaching
Dr. Justus’ philosophy of teaching is simple; no one person can ever know it all. None of us really stops learning if we have a genuine interest in doing so. I like to approach my duties as a teacher not so much from the perspective that “I’m the TEACHER and you’re the student”, but rather that we are all just different levels of learners. I discover something new every time I conduct a class and try to use those new discoveries to benefit my students. I continue to be challenged and rewarded by my students and hope that my students feel likewise.
